The Lumina Radiance Pod leverages Galvanic Ion technology to enhance the absorption of skincare serums and ampoules into the skin. The Radiance Pod operates by emitting a continuous flow of negative ions, utilising the principle that like charges repel each other. When the Radiance Pod applies a negatively charged current to the skin, it interacts with the negatively charged particles in the serum or ampoule, effectively pushing them deeper into the skin layers.

This process, known as iontophoresis, allows the active ingredients in the serum to penetrate more efficiently and reach deeper into the dermis.
