How Does Monopolar RF Skin Tightening Work?

Monopolar RF delivers radiofrequency energy from the skin surface to produce controlled heating within collagen-rich tissue.

Electrical energy passes between the active treatment electrode and a return electrode, allowing radiofrequency energy to travel through the treatment area and generate heat within the tissue.

This controlled thermal response is used to support collagen contraction and progressive collagen remodelling, which is why the treatment is primarily associated with improving skin firmness and laxity.
