What Does Therma Fusion Pro Actually Include?
The system combines two distinct RF treatment modalities with a separate cooling technology.
RF Microneedling
Vacuum-assisted microneedling places RF energy at selected depths within the skin for controlled dermal treatment.
Monopolar RF
A separate non-invasive handpiece delivers RF energy through the skin surface without needles.
Cryo Cooling
A dedicated cooling handpiece can be used around treatment to cool and soothe the skin and support patient comfort.

RF Microneedling combines controlled needle penetration with radiofrequency energy delivered within the skin.
The handpiece uses fine microneedles that enter the skin to a selected depth before RF energy is delivered through the treatment system.
Therma Fusion Pro provides adjustable treatment depths and RF parameters, allowing the practitioner to adapt treatment according to the treatment area, tissue characteristics and intended treatment objective.
The system also uses vacuum-assisted contact. Vacuum gently draws the skin towards the cartridge to support consistent contact and controlled needle penetration.
RF Microneedling is commonly considered where concerns include uneven texture, enlarged-looking pores, atrophic acne scarring, fine lines and reduced skin firmness.
The treatment creates a controlled repair and remodelling response, so results develop progressively rather than representing one instantaneous final outcome.

How Is Monopolar RF Different?
Monopolar RF uses radiofrequency energy too, but the way that energy is delivered is fundamentally different from RF Microneedling.
The Monopolar RF handpiece remains on the surface of the skin. Electrical energy travels between the treatment electrode and a return electrode, creating controlled heating within collagen-rich tissue.
There are no microneedles penetrating the skin during this treatment.
The controlled thermal effect is used to support collagen contraction and remodelling, making Monopolar RF particularly relevant where the main objective is non-invasive skin firming and tightening.
Because there are no microneedles, the treatment experience and post-treatment response differ from RF Microneedling.

Both treatments use radiofrequency energy, but Monopolar RF should not be thought of as RF Microneedling without the needles.
The energy pathway, treatment technique, tissue interaction and patient experience are different, which is why each modality has its own handpiece and treatment protocol.

Where Does Cryo Cooling Fit?
Cryo Cooling has a supporting role rather than being another RF treatment modality.

It should not be confused with the RF treatment itself and does not replace appropriate treatment settings, technique or practitioner judgement.
